Friends and neighbors:

Since November 1989 my family has enjoyed our Fall City rural community, and we have been blessed with the high-quality water provided by our Fall City Water District.  I hope to support the customers of Fall City Water District with abundant and high-quality water at the least cost possible.

My focus will be fiscal control along with a systems perspective to continue to provide high-quality water 24/7/365 to the customers in Fall City.

Statement:

I am a licensed civil engineer and professional project manager with 20 years of experience in engineering and construction management.  I have extensive professional experience working both as a consultant designing water and wastewater treatment facilities, as well as managing the construction of potable water and wastewater facilities, including a potable water treatment facility and storage reservoir for the Fall City Water District.  My background includes technical water treatment as well as interacting with regulators and government entities.

As a resident of Fall City, I feel strongly that our water supply needs to be protected and that the Fall City Water District should be providing the highest quality potable water to our community.

Education: BS Environmental Science, MS Environmental Engineering from Washington State University
Occupation: Environmental Engineer and Project Manager at Parametrix, Inc.
Statement:

As a 25-year Fall City resident, Water District customer, and environmental scientist and engineer, I believe strongly in the need for us to protect our groundwater resource. This includes appropriate treatment and storage to ensure protection of public health and safety, and the environment. Ongoing issues in our community, including higher-density housing, residential large on-site septic systems (LOSS), and climate change, will continue to challenge how we manage the groundwater wells and distribution infrastructure.

My credentials include education noted above, registered Professional Engineer, and experience as a consultant in the environmental engineering field for over 35 years. I have used my experience and passion for community service to volunteer for numerous local community committees. These include Snoqualmie Valley School District facility committee, Patterson Creek Flood Control District board, and Fall City transportation improvements committee.

I respectfully ask for your vote to serve as your Fall City Water District commissioner.
