Judge Paglisotti was appointed to the District Court bench in 2016.  She has served this community for almost 37 years in varied roles within the justice system.  She served the indigent population of King County as a public defender for 22+ years and worked as both a juvenile corrections officer and probation counselor prior to that. 

Judge Paglisotti believes in the efficacy of therapeutic courts and currently presides over the King County Regional Mental Health and Veterans Courts.  She also presided over King County District Court’s first community court.

Judge Paglisotti has a passion for justice and for people.  Her breadth of experience in the justice system makes her uniquely qualified to serve as a judge. She currently serves on the King County District Court’s Equity and Social Justice Committee and on statewide Diversity and Therapeutic Courts Committees.  She is an active member of the National Association of Women Judges.   

Judge Paglisotti was an active member of S.E.I.U. 925 and A.F.S.C.M.E. 2084 and is endorsed by IAM 751, Teamsters JC 28, ATU 587, the National Women’s Political Caucus of Washington, King County Democrats, Democrats for Diversity and Inclusion, and the 32nd, 34th, 36th, 37th, 43rd and 46th LD Democrats.
