Judge Brian Todd is honored to serve the citizens of King County and those that live in the Southwest Electoral District. Judge Todd was appointed to this position by unanimous vote of the King County Council in 2019.

Judge Todd’s philosophy is to treat people fairly regardless of their circumstances or where they come from. Judge Todd recognizes that we all come from many different backgrounds, cultures, and circumstances. This richness of our community is why Judge Todd is honored to be a part of it and to be able to serve the community. As an attorney, Judge Todd helped those who cannot afford an attorney when fighting criminal charges. He has also helped clients with family law, protection orders, and mediations. All of this experience has shaped Judge Todd and makes him a valuable addition to King County District Court.

Judge Todd has the support of many members of the Washington Supreme Court, Court of Appeals, and the Superior, District, and Municipal Courts.  He is also endorsed by the King County Democrats and several legislative districts.
