Public safety is an essential service; support our Firefighters by voting yes to restore the fire levy rate to $1.00 per $1,000.00 of assessed value. Invest in the safety of our families, our property, and our community. We have all felt the cost of inflation during the pandemic; it hit our fire district especially hard.
In emergencies, rapid response makes a difference. Approving the levy will maintain fast response times, crucial to minimizing damage and saving lives. Rapid growth has seen increased call volumes in medical, motor vehicle accidents and fire calls.
Funding the levy will enable the district to attract, train, and retain skilled firefighters and EMTs. Our volunteer Firefighters and paid staff have earned our financial support. They are dedicated professionals, giving their time and risking their health and wellbeing for us, they deserve no less. With a growing population, an active Ski/Bike Park, a main interstate corridor, our Firefighters need resources to deal with these challenges.
By investing in safety we safeguard our person and families, our personal investments, contribute to the overall stability and value of our property and create a vibrant community. Provide our Firefighters with the resources they need. Vote yes on Proposition 1.
