Vote Yes to ensure our community commitment to provide Northshore students the technology needed for success. Technology, like buildings, is not funded through state and federal taxes.
Our world and the technology needed to master it are ever-changing. This renewal technology levy provides the infrastructure, equipment and access our students and teachers need to thrive in a technological world.
We need to provide students with access to computing devices when and where they need them. Technology gives our students the ability to learn, practice and grow relevant skills that they will use in the workforce of today and tomorrow. All students, regardless of economic background, deserve access to the learning tools and skills for success.
We need to update our web-based communications systems to ensure effective two-way communication between teachers and parents.
We need to support our teachers by providing them the training they need to teach and lead students the responsible and appropriate use of technology.
Students, teachers and our community benefit from ongoing training which ensures the safety of our students and our quality of life in this technological age.
Vote Yes to continue our community’s legacy of supporting quality education in Northshore.
