District commissioners are pursuing a property tax increase upon taxpayers because they spent nearly $2.7 million in wasteful and unsustainable fashion. As a Citizen Advisory Group member (CAG), I STOOD UP FOR DISTRICT TAXPAYERS by questioning commissioners while my opponent; also a CAG member, aligned himself with Commissioners.  He has yet to champion taxpayers. Taxpayer interests should be foremost!

I support these tenets:

FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY: Financial books and district administration policy should ALWAYS be open and accessible to taxpayers. I promise to work hard to ensure YOUR tax dollars are prudently spent while also providing quality emergency care and fire safety.

LEADERSHIP: Starts with commissioners with high ethical standard! KCFD 28 has exceptional firefighters who deserve accountable and responsible leadership from Commissioners who promote best practice.

TRANSPARENCY: Elected officials need to be accessible and sincerely listen to constituent concerns. As your commissioner, I will be accountable to district taxpayers!
