Education: -Enumclaw High School Gradute -Associate in Business Degree
Occupation: Finance Manager & Event Coordinator

Statement:

I decided to run for Enumclaw City Council because I genuinely want to make a positive impact on the city, it's people and businesses. Although I come from a strong business background, it is important to have a balance between private and public sectors to serve the citizens best. In the future, I envision Enumclaw an economically strong, thriving town with the same aspects we love such as the unique, inviting, small town atmosphere. If elected, I will do my very best to involve and inform the citizens of decisions that will impact the community because after all, I am here to serve!

On city council, my first priority will focus on fiscal responsibility. I also plan to keep Enumclaw a business-friendly city and also work towards utilizing the Enumclaw Expo Center more to attract tourism (and revenue for the city).

I hope to earn the opportunity to serve you!

Statement:

In my experience of working as an assistant to a State Senator for eight years, teaching and coaching over the past ten, working as a leader in our schools over the past five, and currently serving on the planning commission, I know the value of finding compromise and building consensus.    My interests are using my experience with the state and county government to help our community focus on building a vibrant and dynamic future.  My strengths are talking with people, working on issues, and seeking positive outcomes—this is what I hope to bring to our city.

I came to Enumclaw eight years ago and feel so fortunate to live, work, and to raise my family here.  It is important to be mindful of the wonderful legacy that the city has and to work to improve for our future—together.
